Description 

Ideal for vegetarians and vegans, this vitamin D3 supplement comes in the form of drops and is suitable for all ages including children.

  • Vitamin D is most commonly associated with assisting with the maintenance of strong bones and teeth, helping support the functions of the immune system and contributing toward normal muscle functions
  • Vitamin D is needed for normal growth and development of bone in children
  • Vitamin D3 is the most bioavailable form of this nutrient (Vitamin D)
  • Those at particular risk of Vitamin D deficiency are children (under 5 years), the elderly (65 years+), pregnant women and those that rarely get outdoors (lack of sunshine)

Vitamin D provides a role in:

  • Vitamin D contributes to the normal absorption/utilisation of calcium and phosphorus

  • Vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and teeth

  • Vitamin D is needed for normal growth and development of bone in children

 The Department of Health recommends babies from birth to 1 year of age who are being breastfed should be given a daily supplement containing 8.5 to 10 micrograms (µg) of vitamin D, whether or not the mother is taking a supplement containing vitamin D. Please note they also recommend that all children aged 6 months to 5 years are given vitamin supplements containing vitamins A, C and D every day unless they are having more than 500ml (about a pint) of infant formula (which is fortified with vitamins). It is recommended that adults and children over the age of 1 should have 10µg of vitamin D a day.

Ingredients:
Vitamin D3 (plant derived cholecalciferol from lichen), medium chain triglycerides of coconut fatty acids, d-alpha-tocopherol (antioxidant).

Form: Liquid.

Suggested Intake:
As directed by a practitioner or Cytoplan Practitioner: 2 drops = 5µg (200 i.u.), 0.5 mls = 40µg (1600 i.u.). Each glass bottle contains 15ml of Vitamin D3 providing 30-60 days supple per bottle. 

Suitable For:
Men, women and children of all ages specifically breast fed infants. Vegetarians, vegans and for people on a halal and/or kosher diet.

Contraindications:
This product should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet.

Non-Active Ingredients:
Medium chain triglycerides of coconut fatty acids, d-alpha-tocopherol (antioxidant).

Non GM & Free From:
GMO, wheat, gluten, soy, dairy, added sugar, colourings & flavourings.

Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place.

Delivery
For UK-delivered orders that are under £25.00, we charge a nominal postage and packing fee of £1.95. UK orders above £25.00 are DELIVERED FREE OF CHARGE. 

Dependent on weight, your order will either be sent by First Class post (Royal Mail) or via our nominated courier. A signature is required on receipt of the goods if delivered by our courier. 

Please check all requirements (import taxes, customs regulations etc) regarding deliveries to countries outside the UK. We cannot guarantee next day delivery, although you should receive your order within 2-3 working days. Orders placed by 12pm (weekdays) will be delivered next working day.

 

SHIPPING INFORMATION

As a result of the COVID 19 outbreak, BrandListry & our delivery partners are taking steps to help prevent the spread of this illness. In order to reduce the possibility of transmission at the point of delivery it is the policy of all our carriers to no longer obtain signatures as proof of delivery. Instead, in cases where a parcel does not fit through a letterbox, the courier will leave the item at your door, and will step aside after knocking to ensure there is a safe distance while you retrieve the parcel. The driver will then ask for your surname and will not obtain a signature. This is to prevent transmission of the Coronavirus through handheld scanners.

STANDARD SHIPPING

Please allow 3-5 working days for Standard deliveries to Mainland UK, Northern Ireland, Guernsey, Jersey & Isle of Man, and 5-7 working days for deliveries to all areas in the United States by USPS. You will receive an email on the day your order leaves our warehouse providing the information to track your order. If you are not at home, a second delivery will be attempted the next working day.

INSURANCE

Whilst in transit all purchases are insured by BrandListry until they are delivered to you. We require a signature for all goods delivered on a Next Day service, at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you. If you are not the receiver of your purchase, then the person who signs for the package confirms receipt and is accountable for the package.

RETURNING PRODUCTS

Please be advised that we are unable to take returns on products, for health and safety reasons.

FAULTY & NON-CONFORMING GOODS

If your package is visibly damaged on delivery, please tell the person delivering your goods that you wish to sign as “received damaged”. If your goods are received as faulty or damaged once opened, or if the goods do not conform to the description, please contact us at [email protected] as soon as possible and ideally within 48 hours of receiving your order or becoming aware of the damage. This does not affect your statutory rights.
